(I guess this would be in the "Other" category on Pavel's list!)
(1) Presented here are colour photos of insignia of rank/insignia of position/duty for at least some cruise lines. (I'm sure that there's an even greater variety throughout the world.)

Hey Chuck:
Thanks enjoyed checking out this site - Merchant Navy, Cruise Line or Yachting insignia is very hard to find.
Every company is totally different of course but this is great to find.

CHUCK: Those books by Chapman on seamanship also contain a wealth of information about yachting cap badges and insignia too. They've been in print at least from 1937 to present and updated every few years and contain stuff on the UNITED STATES POWER SQUADRONS as well as the U.S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY and their flags, burgees, pennants, rank insignia, uniforms, awards, insignia, etc. Very attractive large colour prints well worth framing too! Sarge Booker :) :) :)
